Tim Belliveau was born in Montréal and received his BFA in glass from the Alberta College of Art and Design in 2005 and his MFA in Fibers and Material Practices from Concordia University (Montréal) in 2017. He co-founded Bee Kingdom glass studio in 2005 and has exhibited work with the collective at the Cheongju International Craft Biennale, The Pergamon Museum Berlin and at the Pictoplasma festival in Monterrey, Mexico. His exhibition work combines technology with the hand-crafted.
Lattice is a series of objects exploring the ways glass and metal interact, focusing
on reflections, optics and geometry. Each metal component is built in 3D software and printed while the glass is blown by hand to match.
