Lily Artz

Lily Artz is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer based in New York City. Born and raised in Berkeley, California, she came to the east coast to attend Barnard College where she graduated with a degree in Art History and American Studies in 2018. She draws inspiration from the attitudes of those around her, society’s tendency towards inexhaustible consumption, time-keeping records, and more. In addition to making her work, Lily is also a studio assistant at a hand-wrought 22K gold jewelry company called Prounis Jewelry and manages her grandparents’ painting studios. Lily’s work has been featured in Barnard’s art criticism magazine, Journal of Art Criticism (JAC) in 2017 as well as the online journal One Report in 2020.
