Liesl Schubel

Liesl has always been drawn to glass, finding a kinship with its more unusual and dualistic properties. It is hard and soft, transparent and distorting, liquid but not really. Finding inspiration in these qualities, her designs highlight the natural characteristics of molten glass. Liesel lives in Brooklyn and makes her work at the UrbanGlass studio.
