Ka Yee Chan is a 90’s baby who was made in Hong Kong and raised in Brooklyn. As a third culture kid, art had always been a natural method for Ka Yee to convey her emotions, thoughts, and inspirations in an authentic and cross-cultural manner. She is curious about mixed media and her current body of work, vibrant child, combines fibers, clay, and glass to create whimsical handcrafted trinkets. Ka Yee strives to encourage interactive experiences of touch and play for those who live with her work.
