Avery Webster-Hobbs
Avery Webster-Hobbs is an American artist born in Chicago and raised in Brooklyn, where they currently live. Avery is best known by their community for their bright, multi-colored paintings that, through portraiture, explore themes of self-evaluation. They continue to explore similar themes through flameworking soft glass, allowing them to create wearable works that give the impression of being in motion.
Avery is a member of the Fall 2023 Bead Project cohort. You can find more information about the Bead Project here.
