This cup starts with an overlay of color for the cup's body. The glass blower then inflates and shapes it into a cylinder taller than the finished height. The bottom gets heated, blown into a wooden paddle and the paddle pushes into the cylinder to form the fold. After punty, the cup gets trimmed and opened to the right size. The prunts roll in color frit and are put on the body of the cup.
