Handblown glass and house key.
Keys are often the most personal piece of metal one interacts with on a daily basis. This, and our shared reluctance in throwing out old keys, inspired Robert to look for a way to present this familiar object in a new light.
Each key is pressed into the cup while the glass is still hot in order to create an exact impression. Once the glass has fully cooled, the two are chemically bonded.
