Carolyn Bahar
Carolyn Bahar is an artist and designer focused on creating functional, everyday items using craft mediums such as clay, glass, and textile. She received degrees in Graphic Design and Journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2016 and has attended workshops at Brooklyn Clayhouse, Penland School of Craft, and UrbanGlass. She also used to teach beginner clay classes at Brooklyn Clayhouse. Carolyn's background in design leads her to approach craft with a problem-solving ethos, planning for the end product while also enjoying the process.
Carolyn is a graduate of our Fall 2021 semester of The Bead Project. During their ten-week entrepreneurial and skill-building classes, Bead Project participants are invited to create a signature bead to be highlighted in the UrbanGlass store.
