Amanda Patenaude

Amanda blends community, craft and environment awareness in her work ranging from collaborative and interactive installations to up-cycled jewelry and playful designed product lines in glass and ceramics. She has created, taught and exhibited from Philadelphia, to New Orleans, Bergan, Norway and Brooklyn, NY.

Each hand blown glass piggy bank has a sweet and unique gesture created through heating, pulling sculpting a hot bubble. Designed with elegant yet playful details then finished with a clean cold-worked slit and custom made wooden cork.
